Brad Bostic

Founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board

Brad Bostic is an entrepreneurial leader who has founded and led multiple high-growth technology companies serving in the capacities of CEO and President.  Brad has built successful companies in the mobile, SaaS, and enterprise software markets.  Brad has been recognized for his achievements in business including being named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list recognizing the state’s top business leaders under the age of forty.

Brad co-founded ChaCha, a mobile and online answers service, in January 2006 and served as President through February 2009.  Under his leadership, ChaCha became the world’s fastest growing text (SMS) search service winning a number of awards including AT&T Fast Pitch, Fierce 15 Most Influential Mobile Companies, and Frost & Sullivan’s Most Innovative Mobile Search product.  Brad resumed his role as CEO of Bostech in July 2009 and is focused on leading the company’s expansion.  Brad graduated from Indiana University where he majored in business with an emphasis on Information Systems.

 

Tom Cooper 

Chief Technology Officer

Tom Cooper is a veteran entrepreneurial technology executive and innovator.  Tom is a driven self-starter with a high degree of business acumen along with expertise in multiple technology platforms.  His technology leadership style ensures that technical creativity and innovation are aligned with business objectives and strategies.  Tom oversees all of Bostech’s product development activities, personnel, and technology infrastructure employed in the delivery of Bostech’s cloud-based software solutions. 
Tom was previously the founding CTO of ChaCha where he led the design and development of the platform that now supports more than twenty million monthly users and has processed more than one billion user questions.  Tom was part of the technology leadership team responsible for developing the hospital market leading Cloverleaf integration technology platform along with Eric Lu, Bostech’s Vice President of R&D.  Tom graduated from Baylor University with a B.S. in Chemistry and minors in Mathematics and Physics.

 

Eric Lu

Chief Technology Officer and VP of Research and Development

Eric has an extensive background in developing scalable enterprise-class applications. He is responsible for managing Bostech’s software development including design, development and overall product architecture.  Eric manages the activities of Bostech’s product architecture and core platform development team in the US and makes frequent trips to Bostech’s R&D center in Beijing, China to lead Bostech’s engineers who are based there.  Eric has led the Bostech R&D team through the entire process of designing and developing ChainBuilder. 
Prior to joining Bostech, Eric was responsible for leading the development of Cloverleaf, the most popular interfacing engine technology in the North American hospital market with more than 33% market share, and he held technical senior management positions at HUBLink, Quovadx, Inc. (now a division of Lawson Software called HealthVision), and JP Morgan Chase.  Eric has a B.S. in Computer Science from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in Nanjing, China and a Masters in Computer Science from Wright State University.


Michael Shepard

VP of Finance

Michael Shepard has over 10 years of operational experience with both Fortune 500 companies as well as with start-up ventures.   Michael most recently served as a Principal for Heron Capital, a life science focused venture capital fund.  He also served as the Director of Finance, Corporate Treasurer at 4GL School Solutions, Inc. and as Director of Finance at TidePoint Corporation, both venture backed companies. He was a partner at Option Funding Group, L.P., where he traded equity options on the floor of the Chicago Board of Options Exchange. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ball State University with a B.S. in Finance and subsequently earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
 

Geoff Endris

VP of Operations

Geoff Endris joined Bostech as VP of Operations in Q4 2010 overseeing services, support, and program management.  Geoff, who began his career with a decade of systems engineering and operations training for IBM at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, has served in a variety of leadership roles for high growth technology firms.  Most recently, Geoff served as a Vice President of Services at Haverstick Consulting which achieved a successful exit for its shareholders through a sale of the company to Kratos Consulting. Geoff graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Computer Science.


Todd Melioris

VP of Sales

Todd Melioris joined Bostech’s leadership team as VP of Sales in March of 2011.  Todd has a proven track record of success leading sales for high growth technology companies and has already driven new sales wins for Bostech within his first eight weeks in this position.  Todd was a co-founder of Client Server Solutions which he grew from startup to $200M in revenue over a four year period from 1996 – 1999 resulting in a successful IPO of the company’s stock.  Todd has also served in VP of Marketing and Sales positions at Datastream Systems, McKesson Corporation, and United ERP.  Todd also served as CEO of the National Healthcare Council.  Todd graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics concentrated in Computer Science from the State University of New York College at Cortland.  Todd also received a Masters degree in Computer Science and Finance from Georgia State University.
 

Mark Preston

VP of Architecture

As VP of Architecture, Mark's responsibilities include the full life cycle of product development, but primarily focuses on design and architecture to guarantee solutions are fast and scalable.  Mark has been with Bostech since 2004 and was instrumental in the creation of Chainbuilder Connect as well as assisting with many customer specific solutions.  Before working at Bostech, Mark has experience in product development at his time at Quovadx as well as delivering customer specific solutions while he worked at AGT International.  When not building new solutions for Bostech, Mark enjoys working on home improvement and wood working projects and hanging out with his dog, Samantha.
